Get to Know Us
Childhood is a time of discovery and adventure! Littlest Angels Preschool provides a developmentally appropriate program for the children. We offer a theme and play-based curriculum. The themes are changed monthly and include new books, toys, manipulatives, puzzles, and crafts. Our curriculum builds upon what children know and are able to do in order to better consolidate their learning and to promote their attainment of new concepts and skills.
What parents can expect..
There is an increased emphasis on academics each year to help ensure our student are well-prepared for Kindergarten when they leave our school.
Our daily schedule has been thoughtfully planned to provide a balance between structured and non-structured activities. Throughout the day, activities may include: Arrival and Greeting, Free Choice Time, Circle Time (theme-related stories, songs, finger plays, puppets), Outdoor Time, Snack Time and Music.
Music Class
Preschoolers love music and they love to move! They are at an ideal age to expand their musical knowledge and abilities. During music class, the children are given plenty of opportunities to express their singing voice and emerging musical knowledge through song, dance, movement, instruments, and games. Our hope is that the children will develop a love for music that will last a lifetime!
2 Year Old Program
9 a.m. to Noon. Children may be enrolled for 2, 3, or 5 days per week.
Lunch Bunch*: Children who are ready for and need a longer day of preschool may enroll in the Lunch Bunch program for an hour from Noon until 1:00. This also provides a program for students who will be staying for extended-day care from 1:00 until they are picked up. Please see the section on extended-day care.
Early Bird Care*
8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Extended-Day Care*
1 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. This is available for children ages 2 – 5. You may choose a regular schedule or a “Drop-in” care available with 24 hour notice.
3 - 5 Year Old Program
9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Children may be enrolled for 2, 3, or 5 days per week. Parents whose children are enrolled from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm are required to help co-op four (4) hours per month in their child’s classroom.
Before - School Care*
8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. This is available for children ages 2 – 5. You may choose a regular schedule or a “Drop-in” care available with 24 hour notice.
*Extended Hours
Early Bird, Before Care, Lunch Bunch and Aftercare programs may be used on a regular basis or on a drop-in basis, if space is available and with at least 24-hour notice.”
Co-Op Procedures & Immunization
At Littlest Angels Preschool, we believe that a child's love of discovery and learning is a joy to see. To enhance your child's school day, parents of our 3-5 year olds participate in our co-op program.
Each month, parents will have the opportunity to be actively involved in their child's classroom activities. We invite you to spend time with your child and his or her classmates. It's an experience you won't want to miss!
